Regular "balanced" living

Today the quest begins to get back to a "normal" way of life, if there is any such thing as normal. The challenge of everyday life in our hectic techno society is to be able to fit everything in that needs to get done in that period of 24 hours. This we have been failing at lately with the busyness of the highschool musical for Emilie, competitions for Lin and moving for Adam. Now it is time to take a breath and get some routines established and processes in place to keep life ticking away in the background.

Once life is set to a pace of grocery shopping, menu planning, meal making, I might be able to have time for contemplation, romance and creativity. As they say "hope springs eternal". :) To tackle the routines I am going to explore FlyLady's methods again (www.flylady.org), grocery shopping and menu planning will be courtesy of Leanne Ely from Saving Dinner (www.savingdinner.com). We have some vegetarian menus and grocery lists that can help do the work of planning for us until we get a handle on things. Budgeting is just a matter of keeping up with the process that we have in place, being mindful to check and double check.

Once more into the fray....

Oh Yes! Once more unto the breach, dear friend, once more,
Or close the wall up with our English (& French) dead!
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man (or woman)
As modest stillness and humility (and full pantries and cleanliness);
But when the blast of war (or the demands of competitions, play, and moving days) blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger:
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood.

So together, into the breach!

Hey Pam!

Don't worry, you'll be able to find time to contemplate life, the universe and everything :)

Remember, from "interesting" times comes great gifts of learning. ;)

Be well!
