Yesterday was a hugely hectic and busy day. Seems that most of my life these days is filled with this type of day! It is the period of my life right now but it is strange as I feel like I am in a spot of the road and can see much calmer days ahead. Almost like when you are out driving somewhere scenic, like the Gatineau Hills, in the summertime. You are driving through a horrific summer storm with black clouds and thunder and lightning. The landscape is whipped with the fury of the wind but you can see the road further ahead and it is like a golden wall of sunshine. There is an invisible border/boundary that can be crossed over into a glorious summer land of warmth and light.
That is what my life feels like right now. Hectic wildness of a strong maelstrom but the promise of that sunbaked peacefulness of a lazy summer day is up ahead. Well "once more back into the fray" as they say. :)
